In the year 2001, a shining light from Palm Beach Gardens Softball Program passed away.  Rachel Steele, age 21, was tragically lost.  Rachel is the daughter of Mike and Kathy Steele, long time active supporters of the Palm Beach Gardens Softball Program.

In honor of her memory, the PBGYAA Softball Board established a college scholarship fund in her name.  The recipient(s) of the scholarship award are determined by a review of submitted applications and academic records.  The scholarship review committee is comprised of the current Palm Beach Gardens Softball Board members.

Qualified applicants for the "Rachel Steele Scholarship" must be currently accepted or enrolled in a college and have been a past participant in the Palm Beach Gardens Softball Program.

Deadline for Application:
All applications must be postmarked or received via email on or before June 30th each year.

Review:
The committee will review the applications submitted and make award determinations by the 15th day of August of each year.

Finalist:
