PBGYAA Cheer<\/p>\n

Ages: 5-14 years old<\/p>\n

(<\/strong>Season August – October)<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will receive the use of a uniform and pom poms. A practice shirt, bag and a bow are given to each participant.
You will need to provide shoes, socks and bloomers for under the uniform skirt.<\/p>\n

Program Information<\/h2>\n

\"POPThank you for your interest in Palm Beach Gardens Cheer.\u00a0\u00a0The Cheer season will begin on August 1st. The season runs from August 1st until the middle of October.\u00a0 Teams will cheer at all home games for the PBGYAA Tackle Football program.<\/p>\n

As we look to rebuild our cheer program we will be offering cheer for ages 5 \u2013 14 years old.\u00a0 Teams will be formed based on the registration numbers.<\/p>\n

Cheer teams will start practicing August 1st. The practice schedule will be provided by your Head Coach. The team will cheer at approximateley 8 season football games played on Saturdays.<\/p>\n

Registration Information\"POP<\/h2>\n

Registration Fees:<\/strong> As a non-profit recreational program it takes a lot of funding to run a single season of\u00a0 cheerleading. Some of that cost is carried by our phenomenal sponsors, but the majority comes from registration fees and fundraising. The registration fee of $300 covers the fees required to participate in and also provides the use of a uniform for the season. In addition, cheerleaders will be given a practice shirt, bag and a game bow. **All families must plan to purchase a pair of specific shoes for practice, games and exhibition and the bloomers for under the uniform skirt. A registration packet will be provided listing all additional items.**<\/p>\n

Volunteers:<\/strong> This is a volunteer led organization. Each year we depend on volunteers to join us and become coaches for our teams.\u00a0 We are always looking for new coaches who can contribute their time and cheerleading experience to the program as well as Team parents and a program coordinator to help keep it all running smoothly! Weather Policy<\/h2>\n

If inclement weather is forecasted for the Palm Beach Gardens area on a practice day, the Head Coaches will make a determination by 4pm about whether practice will continue, and if so, where practice will occur.<\/p>\n

When your coach makes a determination they will relay the information to team families.<\/p>\n

The Mission Statement<\/span>We put children first.

The Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association shall assist in the positive physical and emotional development of our youth by providing programs for active participation in amateur sports. Shall encourage children of school age (K-12 grade) to participate in these programs. Shall take whatever steps necessary to provide an opportunity to participate, to any child, regardless of physical ability, ethnic background or financial resources. Shall seek to demonstrate and promote the concepts of team participation, spirit of competitiveness and fair play, both on and off the field, by players, coaches, officials, family and fans alike. Shall actively seek the necessary funding to accomplish its objectives.<\/span><\/p>

It is because of our enthusiastic volunteers throughout the PBGYAA sports leagues that our programs are so successful. All volunteer coaches have gone though a full background check by the city of Palm Beach Gardens. Each Division Board consists of incredibly dedicated volunteers who are elected for an annual term.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
