You will receive the use of a uniform and pom poms. A practice shirt and a bow are given to each participant.
You will need to provide shoes, socks and bloomers for under the uniform skirt.

Thank you for your interest in Palm Beach Gardens Pop Warner Cheer. The mission statement of Pop Warner Little Scholars is to enable young people to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives.
The Pop Warner Cheer season will begin on August 1st. The season runs from August 1st until the middle of October. Teams will participate in 1 local competition with the chance to advance to regionals and nationals. Regional and National competitions are November-December.
As we look to rebuild our cheer program for the 2022 season we will be offering Tiny Mite cheer ages 5 – 7 and Mitey Mites cheer age 7-9 years old.
Cheer teams will start practicing August 1st. The practice schedule will be provided by your Head Coach. The team will cheer at 8 season football games played on Saturdays and will perform an exhibition routine at the Treasure Coast Pop Warner cheer and dance competition in October. Approximately half of the football games will be played at the home field in Palm Beach Gardens and the other half will be away games within the Treasure Coast area.
Registration Fees: As a non-profit recreational program it takes a lot of funding to run a single season of Pop Warner cheerleading. Some of that cost is carried by our phenomenal sponsors, but the majority comes from registration fees and fundraising. The registration fee of $225 covers the fees required to participate in Pop Warner and also provides the use of a uniform for the season. In addition, cheerleaders will be given a practice shirt and a game bow. **All families must plan to purchase a pair of specific shoes for practice, games and exhibition and the bloomers for under the uniform skirt. A registration packet will be provided listing all additional items.**
Volunteers: This is a volunteer led organization. Each year we depend on volunteers to join us and become coaches for our teams. We are always looking for new coaches who can contribute their time and cheerleading experience to the program as well as Team parents and a program coordinator to help keep it all running smoothly! All of our coaches must go through a Pop Warner certification clinic. In addition, all Pop Warner volunteers must submit to a background check in order to assist our participants!
Registration paperwork will be sent to you once you have registered in our database with a checklist and due date of submission.

If inclement weather is forecasted for the Palm Beach Gardens area on a practice day, the Head Coaches will make a determination by 4pm about whether practice will continue, and if so, where practice will occur.
When your coach makes a determination they will relay the information to team families.
