Palm Beach Gardens Gator Lacrosse season is finally here! We are all very excited for the upcoming season. We will have a paperwork hand in and player evaluation in the beginning of January, time and date to be determined. All practices and HOME games are played at PGA Park off Northlake BLVD. We will send out emails with further information once we get closer to the start of the season. Please be sure the email you used for registration is the best contact for your family as all correspondence will be sent through the registration list.

Registration Requirements: After you register in Blue Sombrero, you will receive an e-mail with an information packet. You will need to submit the forms in the information package as well as the following documents before your player can participate in the player evaluations or be assigned to a team. The packet can also be found on the registration page under forms. In addition to the forms in the package, you must provide:

Copy of players birth certificate
Copy of a recent report card
Physical form reflecting the results of a sports or back to school physical completed in the 9 months preceding the season
U S Lacrosse application(included in parent packet) or proof od current us lacrosse membership.

Player evaluation: -- Players in the Lightning division (3^rd and 4^th grade) and older will be evaluated to determine the appropriate placement on a team. The evaluation will consist of drills that will allow the coaches to assess the players’ overall skill level. The K-2 division will hand in paper work and meet their coaches but will not be evaluated as there is only one team in that division.

Once the teams are set, your coaches will contact you with practice information. Teams will practice two days a week (some may practice three days prior to the start of the season). Games will start in February and will be on Saturdays. Our home games will be played at PGA PARK. Once we are into the season, we will have some mid week games in addition to our Saturday games.we will do our best with scheduling, but due to the growth of our league teams will be staggered to allow each team to have adequate field space for practice.

Please remember we are an all parent volunteer run league. We will need help running time clocks, keeping score, setting up and breaking down the fields at home games, running concession ect. We can't do it without your help!!! We also have on the registration page a fundraising option. You can pay an extra amount or decline and then participate in a league fundraiser. Those that decline the added amount at registration will be contacted at the beginning of the season with the approves fundraiser. In the past this has been selling coupon books and finding sponsors.
