LOCATION AT
PGA NATIONAL PARK
1 Ryder Cup Drive
OFF Northlake Boulevard
Why Pop Warner:
-Pride - represent
your home town and play for the home team. Practice and play
games at PGA National Park in Palm Beach Gardens. Play 4
home games and 4 away games against other Pop Warner teams.
Each year our teams compete in the Bowl Games and Playoffs
for Conference, Regional, State and National Championships.
Our National championships are held each year at Disney's
Wide World or Sports in Orlando, Florida and games are
televised on ESPN!
-Scholarship- Pop
Warner Little Scholars Awards Academic Scholarships each
year to outstanding student athletes from across the
country. Many Associations award scholarship dollars to
athletes as well.
-Exposure- Our
student athletes are recognized as players and many top high
school and college coaches in the nation routinely
participate in our developmental programs.
-Academics- Pop
Warner is the ONLY youth football program in Palm beach
County that maintains as a core requirement of Academic
Progress and REQUIRES student athletes to maintain a
sufficient grade point average in order to be eligible
participants.
-Development- It's no
secret that more than 75% of today's NFL players
participated in Pop Warner! In our program, fundamentals are
stressed early and do not need to be relearned each year as
teams grow together. This enables our coaches to move to
more specialized techniques and position specific skills to
prepare the student athlete for competition in High School
and beyond.
